Alley, you're saying stuff again! Acetone is waaaay too harsh on most things.

Use 99% rubbing alcohol instead. It's great for so many reasons! It cleans, disinfects, doesn't corrode, and it'll evaporate if you're unable to dry it all up. Just don't drink it!

I should clarify that you can not use acetone, it has to be non-acetone. Or use alcohol. Either way, we used it and they ran great for years, some still do so over at my brothers. He has one of about every system. Even turbo grfx and Neo Geo, we're 80's like that.

The drawback to living somewhere that people are assholes is the high rent.

 

Yeah, but acetone is my best friend each and every time I glue myself to something with industrial glue meant for airplanes.

Also nail polish.

I’m not disagreeing with you at all here, I just have a very beloved jar of acetone and I don’t want it to feel unloved.

 

The positive side is that you don't have to worry about someone passive-agressively punishing you for some imagined sleight. If you pissed someone off they will tell you. I can't stand living somewhere where the average education level is middle school, and where people are usually grandparents at 30.
