How was steve harvey involved? or is that just what people are calling it since his miss america fuck up?

 

Dude in charge of reading "best picture" somehow ended up with "best actress". So when he opened it, he was confused and didn't say anything, because he was expecting to see a long name of lists and the movie title, and only saw "emma stone" and "la la land". So without saying anything for a few seconds, he showed it to his co-announcer, who just read the movie name "La La Land" (after telling him he was horrible) and they came up. They got about 50% through their thank yous, when one guy was like "This is not a joke, best picture is to Moonlight" grabbed the card from the old announcer and showed it to the audence.
