I keep the thread open in a pinned tab even when I'm not actively on, and catch up in small bursts. I think I chose to have my status hidden just because of that? But whether it is or isn't, it isn't accurate to my actual use, it just means at one time in the last 24 hours I opened the thread and didn't close it.
