Have you tried checking and seeing if any of the universitys/colleges around you offer a health clinic?
Since my husband free lances with his studio work he has to go to the UT Health and Science near us for his asthma medication ect... and it ends up being like $50 a visit and they also have their own pharmacy on site that gives discounted medicine.
It's super helped us out over the years and everyone has been really nice and any testing he has done they've been able to let us do like a cash price which makes it discounted and not near as expensive as going to like a GP.

Being sick all the time eventually leads to being in debt too fwiw. My parents didnt insure me cause they didn't wanna deal with my health problems and pretended they didn't exist (and then lied to me to boot), and thats how I ended up with millions in medical bills when my body finally decided it was quittin' time after years of being sick. My health has never fully recovered and I'll be paying medical bills till I die. I make decent money but I have shit for expendable income half the time, cause I'm still paying off stuff from when I was 19. 9 years ago. I am still paying bills from 9 years ago. My other option was bankruptcy and NOPE. I've gotten a TON written off and paid off a good bit, but I'm still in a giant hole that wasn't really my own making. My parents told me for years that I wasn't as sick as I felt, and to "stop being dramatic" every time I passed out. My dad showed up at the hospital to tell me I needed to stop being dramatic cause I couldn't afford it, and got cornered by a doctor when he finally admitted they just lied to me for years and assumed the doctors were trying to scare them when I was a kiddo. What little care I got from campus health folks was better than nothing at all, BUT I WAS (and thus minimally invested campus doctors were) OPERATING UNDER THE ASSUMPTION I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING WRONG EVEN THO IT TURNS OUT I ALWAYS HAD AND MY PARENTS BSED ME. Docs were SUPER CONFUSED how I went from otherwise active if not perpetually a little bit sick 19 year old to being half dead- half dead being completely literal here. I would have found some way to get at least some care if I had known and wasn't convinced I was just a big baby.

Like holy shit folks- take care of yourselves please. It is not worth the consequences when you ignore your health issues.

Please please please let me be a cautionary tale here for anyone who thinks it's a great idea to ignore or not treat issues that are obviously affecting your life. You don't wanna end up with a lifetime of issues that wouldn't have been this bad in the first place if you had just gotten treated years before it all blows up in your face and costs you even more money in the long run.
