Thanks I thought so too and I don't know what all the specs mean and all but this seemed like a no brainer to buy all told with monitor and tax $732 so it pays for itself in 2 weeks of turk

 

I feel like I should point out something in case you ever buy another monitor.. You know that HD = 1080p (Okay technically FHD or full HD is the proper term but everyone accepts HD as 1080p)

LED is the lighting technology on the monitor so it doesn't actually have as much to do with picture quality as you would think. It more has to do with the black levels and I think a bit of the contrast.

The real important part of the monitor is that is an IPS panel and those are the same types of monitors that artist use because they have MUCH better colors then the cheap TN style that TVs have (newer TVs sometimes have VA that is a bit better though). The only downside of IPS monitors is that they are more expensive and they have a slightly slower response time so they aren't as good as TN monitors for gaming.


tl;dr IPS monitors are the best monitors to buy for non gaming use until OLEDs start being sold at
reasonable prices.

Edit: I exclusively buy IPS monitors for gaming as well because the trade-off of having better colors is totally worth it for slightly worse at gaming.
