Exactly. We have the best mods 'cause no one knows they exist - except when they're being harassed on their birthday, as is tradition . I feel like very rarely should people in the top % of posts on a forum be a mod, interacting that much w/ other people is too difficult - or maybe I'm just socially stunted hahaha.

No, I can see where this would be hard. Who wants to be friends with their boss? Or more importantly friends with the person wielding the banhammer the second your joke goes one step too far.
