I think a large part of the pay scale problem is that when a Requester does pay a fair living wage, people rant on and on about how great they are and easy money and on and on... I want to strangle people when I see them do that on TO or a forum.

 

If you read that doc in its entirety, the workers still got absolutely hosed and paid well below minimum wages.

Good on the lawyers and original workers to reduce their fees so the actual workers they sued for got more. Like, huge kudos to them. The act itself is awesome, it really is, but the end result is still a gigantic win for CF at the end of the day. But I don't believe in "moral victories" so feel free to ignore my negative nancy pants attitude haha.

Phone farming can be complex. I have learned in the last week that my consumer grade "routers" don't have enough RAM or CPU power to handle multiple connections. Something about not being able to store enough NAT entries in RAM which causes the router to drop some or all of your connections randomly. If you are just running a few connections and need speed, the consumer stuff is fine, but lots of open connections is a problem. Now kicking myself because an enterprise edge router, switch and wireless access point would have cost about $50 more than this Lynksys POS.

So, I'll bet you understand that part of phone farming.

 

I have several of those. I remember reading about the cause, but I can't recall what it was...
