    One year, I left my tree up all year. It was in my basement and we rarely used that room, so I didn't care. It made decorating the next year really easy.

    One year, I dragged the tree down the hall to the guest bedroom and just dragged it back the next christmas. 10/10 plan.

    We have twinkle lights on the mantle! Grinches love twinkle lights.

    When we moved in Matt asked if he could put his wooden propeller over the mantle, I asked if I could put twinkle lights up there. We agreed on both. The only problem is I want some of the fancy lights and they are expensive!
