Yeah yeah, should have clarified hunting is its own beast. Most trails designated for hiking just tend to have the "haha, NO." One of the forests I hike in has a really clear line between the hunting/gun friendly areas and the areas where it has to be in your car and unloaded. That's what I get for speaking in generalizations- my bad.

I would prolly piss my pants if I saw a dude with a gun on a legit hiking trail lol. Backwoods hunting areas and such, yeah, but main hiking trails? Legit would pee myself and expect to get murdered. I was creeped out enough of that dude last week, woulda straight up imploded if he had a gun.

I was ready to stab first, ask questions later if he came near me again. I hate that I ran into such a creep, cause I rarely feel nervous hiking alone and that guy made me feel super duper unsafe for the first time on a trail.
