Ok I couldn't even read all that but linking to some autoit page is no excuse, not all the detections were even auto-it related and if you were totally transparent you would be up front from the beginning, not introduce new excuses layer by layer the more i reveal...

I did take some javascript in college.. while I don't know enough to write my own code I do know enough to tell that you aren't doing anything malicious in your code... And yes I do check code before I run it most of the time.

This is all going to be a funny story for most of us in a few days I'm sure.

 

but 2fa's not a waste of time, i recommended 2fa securing your google account for chrome autofill @ mturk.com

 

Its in jQ most of the time too so it should be much easier for those not well versed in javascript to read vs pure javascript. I'm pretty sure I don't have a single userscript that makes a request outside of mturk that people can see and install. I could be forgetting something though.

I use javascript too and have no opinion on whether or not his userscripts are malware (I haven't even looked through the code), I am merely introducing context via past scripts that were verified malicious by 9 different security companies. When I consider installing some (non-mturk) userscript, especially if it's in Chinese I do my research on potential author intent, and that was what I was providing you (decisions still have to be situationally made) Also you have to keep in mind the langauge is irrelevant, if intent ever existed that's the only reason I need to avoid anything written in any language
