Get a rifle and make a habit of carrying your rifle[In a rifle bag] to you car every weekend while going to the range. I made some good friends that way and those that I don't want around are scarce or become scarce when I show up.

 

Well, I tried one, it wasn't clear if you're supposed to do all five that are up? It seems like nearly every query should be graded as "question not clear" because any non-specific search can be interpreted in more than one way, and the instructions clearly indicate not to assume intent. But without an assumption of intent, it isn't possible to know if the response is correct.

 

Someone just knocked on my door too! Their indoor only cat has been missing for 2 weeks AND THEY DIDN'T BOTHER TO LOOK FOR IT TILL JUST NOW!



Like, I hate to break reality to someone but...yikes, 2 weeks? You thought, "oh yeah, fluffy is gonna be super fine with all the coyotes and freezing temps and lack of food for 2 weeks?"

They apparently also moved to a different neighborhood (how they lost him) and didn't worry that little fluffy might come back to the house they wouldn't be at till just now? "we were busy." I'll be on the lookout for the little guy now that I know what he looks like, but at this rate, he's either found a new owner or he's coyote meat. I about had 10 heart attacks- Bearnie was a feral and I still had a meltdown looking for him. I can't even imagine just casually tossing my totally domestic cat to actual predators without givng much of a shit.

 

Cheeto was outside for 20 minutes and you saw my level of panic.

 

I sprint tackled my cat the moment she got out the door once. Full on body tackled and broke my finger because of it but I'll be damned if I would let my pet just run and live outside like that! Do they not see them as family or something?

 

Thankfully my dog gets lost in the small field behind our house, and wanders aimlessly around our neighbor's yard until I come pick him up. People keep telling me letting him sleep in my bed is weird, but my dog's never spent a night outside and I'm not sure how you can move and just "forget" about your own pet. Just because it happened in that one children's movie doesn't mean it's okay.

 

i channeled my inner chris and bugged leafs about something being wrong on yahoo. my negligence will allow him to win this week.

 

not everyone that looks after animals care for them. my place, before we moved in, was ran over with ferals coming in and out. the lady just had bags of food around the house and didn't care what the cats did. the landlord found carcasses of cats inside and underneath. the guy peeled off the floor and most of the furniture because of the level of nastiness. 10 yrs later i still see cat ghosts (not joking)

I have NO IDEA. She was so casual about it, my mind was blown. Matt still hasn't lived down the time he lost Bearnie in a hurricane. He probably never will. We literally put off moving to find him, cause I made it clear I wasn't leaving the state without him in tow. I had half a rural town trying to lure him inside ffs. He stuffed himself into a weird spot when we moved into this house and we didn't see him for 12 hours- I cried cause I thought he bolted for some reason.

Luckily, he's not going anywhere on purpose! He's just really weird.
