yeah, but that takes time to kick in. they need clothes right NOW. And pet food, and their kids have literally, nothing. So until that kicks in they are asking for donations to tide them over.

So I give what I can, and try not to feel guilty I'm not giving more.

There are some pretty impressive efforts going on around here (I'm less than 200 miles from the fire). I'm impressed by my fellow citizens with how generous they are being.
