Day 1 of Bone Scan

Ugg this whole day was much longer and much more grueling than I expected. They told me I was going in for an injection today and scan tomorrow they neglected to say that today's "injection" involved 2 sets of scans 2 1/2 hours apart and using the largest needle I have ever seen to draw a good bit of blood out of me so they could remove my white blood cells and tag them to re inject. Of course the only place anybody can get any vein from me is on my hand. That was painful to do in the hand with that big of a needle and they ended up having to dangle my arm off the table and massage my hand to get enough blood out of my hand.

To top it off Nuclear Medicine is soooo far from the hospital entrance. On the plus side got to really test out my new rolator for the first time and no back pain just my regular leg pain and exhausted cause that is the first time I've been able to walk that far with out feeling like someone was stabbing me in the back in years. So defiantly going to be using that outside of the house more. I was so tempted to get a wheelchair when I went back the second time but told myself I needed to walk more. Glad I did it but exhausted now and I have to do it again tomorrow
