Every time you talk about King being afraid of silly things, I think about how our dogs would get along... but then I think about how they'd probably just end sharing their fears and being scared together. Like, "holy shit, wrapping paper is the enemy too?! I'll add that one to my list, thanks bro!"

My whacko Jacko is afraid of bubbles, the sound of bacon being cooked, disembodied voices like Alexa, Siri, voicemails, phone calls, etc, anything that beeps (UNLESS it's the mailman's scanner thing or anything that sounds like it), especially the emergency weather alert noise on the tv, people clearing their throats, whistling, deep voices, nerf guns, trees/leaves/flowers/shrubberies when they blow in the wind, and being left alone in the dark. Basically, if there's anything that makes a noise he doesn't understand or moves in a way he doesn't understand, he puts his head down and runs to the nearest enclosed tight space, or just sticks his head behind my back as if he's hidden.

 

I feel like this happened a year ago too.... or not even a year.
