I absolutely love it so far. I can only speak for PS4 though.

For the bad parts - I've noticed in particular if you are holding too much in your inventory (there was one footlocker this happened to me full of like 3 full sets of armor and some weapons) and I was double my carry weight and the game got almost unplayable laggy until I could get to a crafting station to scrap it all. Also the patch yesterday seemed to fix most other lag issues I was having before.

Bethesda is working on the stash limit by the end of the year so that's a big plus, but it's really not that bad to work around once you realize that all the junk you ever need is everywhere. Like you don't need to stockpile 2000 steel just drop that. Same goes for ammo if it's not for a gun you're currently using just drop or give it away to other players.

For the multiplayer - I've only had really positive experiences so far. One dude 20 levels above me came and straight murdered me once and then I never saw him again. The map is so massive though that if your'e worried about PvP, don't too much 99% of people I've encountered just want to survive the wasteland.

Story - a lot of people on certain subreddits are still up in arms about "no NPCs" but it's really "no human NPCs" FWIW. I like to explore each location meticulously and figure out what happened there before and after the bombs drop. The notes/holotapes is obviously different but I like how unique it is and it makes me feel like I really did just come out of a vault into a wasteland like "wtf happened." I'm not very far into many of the other main quests, but there have been a couple that are so much fun.

I like that Bethesda is going to be releasing frequent patches and updates but there are a few broken quests still and the game does need more polish in some other areas too tho.
