Ok real post time:

For minimum comment length for return reviews I looked at these 4 categories:

avg comment length where comment exists: 72char
median comment length where comment exists: 53 char
avg overall: 24char
median overall: 39char

I settled on 40 chars being the minimum comment length on the instances where a comment will be required for a return review (any of the "misc" categories, broken, & underpaid). Will use those to expand often-repeating categories or let folks suffer who want to review stuff that doesn't fit into the mold of what normally constitutes work suitable to be tossed back into the crap pile

Its honestly less than one full English sentence to write for an explanation:


I know it blows to do work, but honestly for these instances w/o a comment the bare data makes no sense (versus a TOS return for SEO blog spam where you know exactly what it is or an inquisit flag, etc etc).

 

Hm, I meant to end this with a "thoughts?" question but forgot..
