That is absolutely insane! I am so sorry that happened to you. Good thing no one was hurt. My downstairs neightbor stole a bunch of my mail - big boxes and when I caught her telling the UPS guy she was expecting the mail he had in his hands - she got scared and gave me the stuff she took and the police said they can't do anything cus she gave it back (without the box, and everything was opened) ... its asinine that nothing can be done... because all she does is stay home and do drugs.
