My dinner parties tend to snowball and for totally petty reasons I won't bore everyone with (someone is being a big ol' meanie and excluding folks and that's putting it nicely), we've just turned this one up to 11! I'm making baked brie with crab and homemade puff pastry, baked pasta bolognese, garlic pull apart bread, marscapone pb cup cheesecakes (with cookie crusts, ofc), and chocolate coquito.

And for about 40-50 people...


I'll be basically living in my kitchen this week to say the least. And of course, little Porgy had an autoimmune reaction this weekend so I'm taking care of his furry butt while I have to give 6 sets of ears drops for the next week to ensure nobody else picks up the ear mites that seem to be ko-ed now. I'm staring down Bearnie and the others, just waiting for them to decide they are having some sort of problem too. Luckily, Bearnie seems as chipper as ever and the dogs barely noticed they were a little itchy before I got the drops in their ears.

 

Anyone ever get that feeling that you do a bunch of hits promising bonuses but only about half of them deliver.

I'm terrible about keeping track of bonuses. I don't pay much attention to how many tasks I submit that promise a bonus, and absolutely zero attention to whether they pay out. So I honestly can't say how the bonus thing works out for me.
