!! WE HAVE FERAL PIGS TOOOOO! THEY ARE SO CRAZY! The feral pigs we have on the mountains are pretty friendly, outside of trying to theft your food, but the boars will try and straight maul you. The one mountain park I do the most has mountain lions, bobcats, bears, feral pigs, deer, coyotes, and boars. It's like a veritable buffet of near maulings! Luckily, the boars are on a different side of the mountain and people hunt them but they seem to stay away from the more hiker centric, bear centric side of things. The damn pigs tho! THEY ARE NUTTY! They were left there by settlers like 100 years ago and have populated since so they are "feral," but not like...murderous boar levels of feral.

For someone with a phobia of everything outdoors, I sure hike in the back country a lot. Matt's mom is getting us a new handheld sat gps cause she's worried one of us will get too lost to find our way back one of these days when we are alone in the middle of nothing. I mean, I'm not arguing cause this way I can plot a point on the map and find really obscure trails but man, she is paranoid I will fall off a cliff or get eaten by a boar!
