That's basically what happens in this house. He hears something, still does not make the connection to sex, asks me what it is then deeply regrets it later.

when he was younger he didn't mind. Now that puberty has hit the LAST THING IN THE WORLD he wants to talk to Mom about is sex.

But, I'm it. I'm his person. So he does talk to me about it.

Apparently, I just need to explain things in five seconds or less. Which I can work on.

 

Better than just handing him a condom and telling him to go have fun.

He heard it from a kid when he was playing his switch...I told him he had enough screen time for the moment. I always answer when he asks questions, but he always regrets it too LOL

 

My kid has a really, really strong objection to objectifying women. He's more sanctimonious about it than I am and I've got girl parts.

I think it's because he's being raised by a single mom and he's had to learn things by the news. The Stanford Rape Case, the MeToo movement...all these things as he's trying to grow up and think about dating. Now he's half paralyzed and figuring he'll just wait to date until he's married!
