Since it's quiet.... I have never been able to get the forum notifications in the toolbox to work. I've tried putting stuff in there that I now will get triggered and still nothing. Am I missing something obvious?

 

The new version is worth it just for adding volume buttons on the remote. Plus, Kodi loads twice as fast.

Thanks. I don't want something that uses USB for power. Guess I'll inspect the Roku4. I have a 3 and a really really old one that was designed for TVs without HDMI. Recently Roku gave me a message about upgrading it.

Its not preferable to do this through TVJS, what does make sense is providing an API something that does make sense doing this (a HIT tracker that already looks at all this data, mayhaps) can use to upload the data to the repository

Two totally different scripts hard scraping all those pages at various time intervals probably starts to get into "dont impact the service" territory of the PA

I'll do it if I have to but either way need the API done first

I own my own modem, but just received a new upgrade modem. My modem is within spec and I don't currently lease a modem through them.

Firesticks come with a power adapter so you don't have to use a USB. I highly recommend looking into Android boxes and getting at least 2G of RAM. There are some good boxes out there at reasonable prices.

 

I'm sure they try to charge you and then fight you for the next 4 months to remove the fees.
