Yeah but like, who decides what is/is not passive aggressive? negative? I know everyone who has a problem w/ someone else is like "BRUH ITS SOOOOOO OBVIOUS" but they never want to consider the times their posts are "soooo obviously negative" to someone else. I've said this so many times before: If I banned everyone who had a request to be banned for being rude/mean/passive-aggressive/yadda-yadda to someone else we'd be left with 2 nice old ladies discussing crocheting not communication ratings on MTurk.

Now, are there outliers for who is ruder than who? Yes. But that doesn't mean I move the goalposts to start culling people - so long as folks stay out of GRAPES they can pettily argue over dumb topics to the detriment of personal earnings all day err day. If it gets heated mods tend to say disperse & (surprisingly) folks tend to until y'know the admin comes back 2 hrs later & starts quoting everything with long winded speeches to give folks somthing to TL;DR gif reply to.

Anywho, beyond that its too difficult to keep track of who hates who after petty arguments, especially with all the off-shoot groups & cliques & gang wars. Half the time I certainly don't know who hates who and who is sleeping with what & I certainly don't expect the mods to keep track either. Gotta be 18+ to work on MTurk, and at this point if X hates Y over Z they're welcome to do so as long as some newbie isn't caught in the crossfire.

++ half the time people are offended they don't bother reporting it until its been 3 pages of back/forth passive-aggressive gif wars I've spent the entire thread laughing my ash off at b/c I didn't know it was serious, lol.

Especially with what people decide is/isn't "offensive" at any given moment in their day/lives/depending on mood/moon cycle. Its not viable to keep track of and is probably why large MTurk forums have always historically split at some point to give groups w/ common ground their own place to congregate & hate "the other" [looking at you, @oldtimeturker /r/mturk user lol].

So.. someone needs to open up FuckTheHub, basically. Or continue branching off into discord/blah blah and just dropping in when/if you need something MTurk related or will otherwise not anger personal sensibilities.

It is what you make of it to some degree.. I come here every day, have zero people on ignore, & am friends with multiple warring factions. I have the most awful, disgusting things said about me - not just the things I build but me as a human being - and at some point you just have to accept that that stuff is just pixels on a screen my dudes/dudettes. While the chains that have latched on and keep you glued to your desk with surveys on the screen are real, the words are not.

I love & appreciate everyone here deeply. TH/TV is basically my life now sad as that may be & I enjoy working on it immensely, but outside our current Festivus activities its gonna be this way from time to time until TH dies and then the next thing comes to replace it and you'll get 6-12mo of bliss & happiness before being back here. Its why we keep the negativity to the most petty topics available on our planet.
