This happens sometimes when it's a Holiday. Usually my deposits get to my account the next day but, sometimes, the withdrawals get there the same day I withdraw (late at night) and directly before a holiday.

Happy new year everybody.... I don't even remember yesterday I was down all day with a nasty flu bug and either whispering to myself that I wanted to die or sleeping lol.

I usually almost always get my deposits the same day if they are initiated before 8-9 AM. Was just surprised they'd process it on New Years Eve too.

Yeah he is mostly catch and release, but we have had some great dinners from some inland lakes and streams. Trout is our fave, but definitely would be catch and release by the mall :)

He is still a little mad because I caught two bigger Bass than him when we were on a river near Boothbay :)

Oh jeez! That sucks. Feel better!!
The flu is the worst. Popsicles are your friend.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to eat after the flu? It's been like 5-6 years since I had it. I'm guessing it should be something very light. Was thinking just a small bowl of rice krispies because milk feels good on the throat.

    No milk.
Not sure how far past you are of the really bad stage - but seriously popsicles are your friend.
    Also gingerale.
Yogurt if you normally like yogurt and are feeling like eating.
But other than that - broth. Chicken broth, etc.
    A million popsicles.
    Mayyyyybe some crackers.

I have a zero immune system and have had norovirus a couple time, plus the flu (allergic to the shot so....) a bit of a post flu expert.
Rice krispies might sound good - but depending how far out you are in the cycle you might want to start with a graham cracker and see how that goes.

Well I think it was a 24 hour thing. I'm not in pain any more just stomach rumbles which I think means I'm hungry. I haven't eaten in like 34 hours. I have some crackers and some gatorade. I can try that. No Popsicles here.

I was honestly hoping I was done with all this ;) but not so lucky. Ever since I got the swine flu mixed with pneumonia back in 09 I've become particularly strong against the flu and this would mark only the second time I've had it since then without a vaccine every year as well.

    Yeah. Go easy.
If you get past the broth stage - hit up some applesauce.
Calms the rumbling, but keeps everything down until you're sure that's where you are at. :)
I would then usually go oatmeal, yogurt, soup... easy to digest stuff.

Amen to that. I'll tell you what I don't wish that mix on anyone. I honestly thought with not even one bit of humor that I was going to die. I just laid on the couch for 5 days in pure pain and anguish. Doctor gave me some meds and told me to wait it out. It worked but it sucked.

I hear you. After the second time I got norovirus from my apparent complete lack of immune system - we now have a house rule that there has to be popsicles at all times.

Its brutal to be that sick. I had blankets, towels, etc - on the floor of our bathroom that I just lived in it like a cocoon for multiple days. It sucked!! I hear ya...

But for real if you had 5 days of it... go easy on introducing solid food. Keep with the gatorade, etc, but some broth, some oatmeal, easy on your stomach stuff is where you want to go (even if your head is saying GIVE ME BIG FOODS.)

That 5 days was way back when this time was just 24 hours :) At any rate thanks for the advice! I'll go see if I can dig some broth up since there is no work to be done. You all have a $5 day today! (hopefully!)

Broth is the jam for a 24 hours illness. And then later today that toast is going to taste like magic.

    Here's to 2020 and a $5 day :)
