    I’ll take a snap of my recipe card when I get home. Biscuits are one of the few things I’ve never had to modify for a good freeze and I actually find they cook better that way because the key to a good, fluffy biscuit is cold fat and you can’t get more cold than frozen! I think they go several months before they get wonky (I usually don’t make it more than 1-2 just from everyone snatching them lol)

    I use a diff recipe for crescents if I’m freezing vs making fresh (and I use a recipe that you make the dough the night before and let it rest in the fridge overnight that’s pretty braindead lol).

    It’s unfortunate you don’t live closer by, or I’d add you to my freezer fairy list. I usually drop off sauce/biscuits/pasta/etc for my single, workaholic friends who can’t cook worth a damn :emoji_joy:

    Honestly, where do I begin? The company i work for has browsers that are years behind where they should be, so not many things run well, if at all. iFrame must have done an update that doesnt work on these browers(either chrome or FF) since I cant even see sliders or buttons. They dont even appear, just questions. So it looks like HITs are broken, when in fact they arent and just dont work on our trash systems.

    Damn, I'd take home cooked stuff, lol. I can cook well, it's just the free time I'm lacking.

    And I totally agree with you about the cold oil. I cut the butter into the dough at the last second as fast as I can before I roll and cut out my biscuits. Best biscuits ever!

    My friend just had a baby and cooks like a champ, knew she would probably be annoyed by shoddily made baby casseroles (that she would politely eat the way I ate badly made condolence casseroles recently) so I offered to just make all the food for her and took up donations- she was jazzed when her entire stand up freezer was full of bird foods HAH. I was glad to take something off her busy hands.

    Breads freeze well, so does the dough (thaw and then bake). It's what Subway does (and most grocery stores that have a bakery) They get frozen dough shipped in and the process of 'from thaw to bake' is done in the store. It's Baked Fresh, not Made Fresh.
