    waiting might not be smart. if it's something else, you could be getting into a critical zone. And from experience, ERs are more busy at night.

    Not sure. They were really more of an acquaintance/coworker than a close friend so I don't know any specifics about what the final cause was. They had called out sick and posted on facebook about eating soup, staying in bed, etc...
