01/04 - Workout Wednesday!

Interesting to hear from another person with shin issues. I've been dancing for about 5 years now and found that getting more flexible and cross-training with my arms has helped with my shin problems immensely. I overexerted myself in HS because I didn't want to quit running (I wasn't amazing but had a few scholarship offers from college and really wanted to run for FSU, where I ended up going) and it's only been in the last few years that it seems to have healed a bit.

I like to swim too! I wish I had access to a nice pool like I did in college--I enjoyed doing laps in an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

Good on you for doing half marathons! What's your best time?

I would really like to run a half, and then a full, and maybe even an ultra one day if I can get my body in balance enough to control my injuries.
