Just keep on trying!!!! My grandma made bread almost every day of her life. There were rarely less than 25-30 of us at the table for meals so there wasn't much choice in the matter. (I grew up in a 5 generation family farm somewhat Walton style) Even she had times when it just went wrong and we ended up with rather "flat donuts" instead of bread.
