    I probably should have. I took it because one of my teachers kept nagging, and it was on my birthday and I was sick as a dog. I had no idea what was going to be on it lol. I used to love standardized testing though and I usually did pretty well.

    Some colleges are starting to phase out the standardized test requirement, and I wholeheartedly support this. (I do well on them but many super smart people who should be in college do not.)

    side note: my kid to the PSAT as a Freshman. I made him take it to get used to taking standardized tests. I finally get his scores and my initial reaction was, "Holy shit, these scores are lower than I thought he would get!"

    Then I read the report further and it showed that for a FRESHMAN he scored higher than "average" and was "on track" to doing well on this test when he's a Junior, when it's normally taken, and he will have actually had the classes that teach him some of the things on the test.

    D'oh. I fergitted that he's not supposed to "ace" it when he's just 14 and barely had two months of high school.
