    until I started seriosly turking and actually legit working from home it was great. On the rare occasion I needed to use Windows needed to do something outside of the browser I would hop on Dave's laptop.

    Dave on the other hand is provided with a desktop via work and only needs a laptop for casual personal use like checking email and other browser based stuff

    Right now is not a good gauge for who is making what. I usually have 20 bucks by the time I go to work at 8 each morning and can crest 50 by mid afternoon. According to my overview screen, the lucrative weeks ended around December 21st and havent really picked up yet. Since then its been 20-30 dollar days and that's me hustlin all day. Set your goals, but dont feel bad about not making them yet.

    I don't think there is any chance the tooling available now compared to "hit scraper + auto-refresh-plus panda" produces a lower wage floor for an onboarding newbie. I'd expect them to lower the ceiling of "super turkers" pretty hardcore though.

    The platform itself might have less available work so you may be totally right (idk, it is impossible to measure from our side of the table across years) but the individual tools available provide a much more stable floor to build from IMO. I probably could've made that more clear, RIP.

    Maybe my PC isn't optimized correctly, it's not uncommon for me to go hours without catching anything. I use 1000ms refresh and get 0 PRE's. Might be worth trying hit catcher or something else.
