I crocheted when I was a kid, and was good, but then forgot it all and it just confuses me now. I can knit, and I love to knit, but it has to be a rectangle. I cannnot increase, decrease, drop, pick up, cable, lace, nothing. Just rectangles of knit and/or purl. I made a Doctor Who scarf for @dewdrop years ago and I think she'd say I did pretty good. I need to make a baby blanket for a cousin/niece (not both, but just a cousin that I'm demanding call me aunt... I'm not from THAT part of the South) soon but need to get past the first couple of rows that I've been unhappy with and frogged like 6 times already.
