I've had some kitten milk leftover from when we found a kitten and were going to bottle feed it.. It's about to expire. I've been tempted to mix it up and drink it. lol

This is like the 10th story of a doc almost killing someone / totally doink'ing the FG, it seems surprisingly difficult to not die under a doctor's care.

 

I mean how bad could it be for you to just try a little taste of it to say you have?

 

Exactly! and if it's terrible, I'll just make my cats drink it. (Which would be the more logical choice anyway..... )

I like in a town of 4k, our facility is little more than a glorified Vet. Hell, vets are better in my opinion, they can at least deliver live animals. I am shocked by all the stories I have heard since then. All they had to do was monitor him and check his blood levels over an 8 hour period. They sent him home and Dx'd him as back pain. So I have learned to question everything.

When I was a paramedic, there was a doc in our small town that we got called to on a regular basis. Went there once for a cardiac arrest... They had the patient on a non-rebreather mask while they were doing CPR.... With the bag-valve-mask hanging off the O2 bottle. Another time I went for chest pain, didn't even have the guy on oxygen. Didn't give him aspirin. Nothing. This was my dad's doctor at the time. He changed docs shortly after I told him.
