I don't understand why anyone would choose the 30 day option.

 

probably for those that are very sparse with their turking and would rather see a 50 dollar disbursement all at once than 2 or 5 dollars here and there

 

Maybe this isn't their main source of income and the little side money once a month is all the need?

 

I will just never trust Amazon enough to let them keep my money for 30 days. Even if it was only a few dollars. There is zero recourse if they decide to pull your account.

 

I used to think 3 day was best, but then I had a realization that by withdrawing so often like I used to (basically every day) - I never would know if there was ever a time the funds never appeared in my account. I just never really kept track, because there were too many too keep track of. I just had confidence in amazon (which is dumb)

By switching to 7 day, I get a bit of peace of mind. Sure you lose some pennies in interest, and I suppose for some - their mturk funds aren't an addition to finances but are important to actually paying for their shit - so they may need it more immediate, but I kinda like 7 day. It's like a paycheck every week that I just need to check once a week to make sure it showed up.
