    Exactly my kind of hair too. For a long time I just refused to really brush it well, I just sort of went over the top of it because it hurt so darn much. Then I saw a Buzzfeed article about the Wet Brush and thought, well, I'll try anything and OMG!! Wow! I brush my hair all the time now - wet or dry, no problem.

    I use the Paul Mitchell Instant Daily Moisture treatment and it really calms my hair down, if anyone's interested. My hair goes wild in humidity and is straight as a board in areas with no humidity. This stuff is like a miracle for my hair and keeps it nice and straight here in Florida.
