Does it dry your hair out at all? Just a few days ago my BF had some dandruff and I was going to get his some H&S but he was like, "oh, I don't need that." Yes, he does! Maybe I should get it and try it. I was always afraid it would be too drying?

Oh I spook myself and the husband with my hair! I've smacked my own arm pretty hard thinking it was a bug or spider but nope! Just hair that's still attached! He get my hair wrapped around places quite often to the point were we had a talk that if we have kids I might have to cut it back because the dangers of it getting wrapped around baby toes.

Personally on a hair bun I use a two hair ties. I make a super super lose bun and then wrap the extra hair around the hair tie and place a second tie over the first. I don't ever leave it up in one for long because then my hair keeps the crease until the next wash.

I just use a silky cloth hair tie and then fold it up and put a barrette that doesn't catch in it- I don't do it tight cause I know exactly what you mean when you say your head gets sore from having it up. But because it's so long, it looks like a bun on top, but it's not really a bun, bun.

Nope, not for me anyway, even the parts that are bleached/dyed are silky smooth. It sounds like such a generic recommendation, but really there's a reason they've been around and seemingly successful for so long.

Yeah, right. It's creepy thinking something is crawling on you and it turns out to be "The Hair" and yeah, it gets wrapped around everything. Lately it ends up in my slippers and feels so darn gross between my toes.

Butt floss is by far the worst con of long hair.

I love the cloth hair tie idea. I've been using those Goody clips and not only does the heavy bun hurt the top of my head, but those clip like, sting my hear because it pulls only one or two randomly, if that makes sense. I've been struggling, lol. I love the cloth tie idea - gonna try it!

Yeh, I hate hair in my face, or sitting on it, getting it caught in my sleeve putting a jacket on and riding in a convertible is an absolute no for me.

Are we discussing long hair again? Is this the point where I insert that ribbons are the superior hair holding back thingy object? Because they are. Ribbons > Everything else. Plastic hair ties are no match for my hair, okay.

Holy shit I learned the convertible one the hard way. The AC was out and I didn't have hair tie mid Southern summer. We rolled the windows down and I was in the back and I was kinda laughing at how wild and twisty my hair was getting without thinking about it. Holy shit that hurt to brush out. It'd never been so bad tangled in my life! NEVER AGAIN. I carry extra hair ties on me just incase something like this happens.

Once I was standing over a shredder shredding stuff at work. My boss pushed me back and I was all like, WTF?! Yep, you guessed it. Thank god she was there to do that.

And the other one more recent, my dad was looking under the hood of my (running) car and I was bending over trying to see what he was looking at - my hair was down and I about freaked out when I saw what I was doing and what might have happened.
