Totally the same:

I sent my (other) kid who was in Wales, UK at the time a package. Took forever to leave the US, and it finally showed up in London (uh, overshoot Cardiff, Wales a tad there?). Then to make it worse it went up to nearly the Scotland border before finally dropping way back down to Cardiff.

So even the Royal Mail sucks at logical shipping.
