Agreed. that was dumb. I accepted and immediatly my panda was screaming at me with alarms and red flashing.

 

I had to turn my alert off ever since I did a huge batch of those picolang is there any profanity in this clip hits. One minute timer and I was trying to listen to audio for like 20 minutes and all I could hear is that ding ding ding ding ding lol.

 

A lot of good Usertesting stuff up this morning in case anybody does those and forgot to pull up the site. Made 20 bucks already(2 studies). 2 may not sound like a lot, but I spent maybe 5 minutes total on both, so pretty decent hourly if you ask me.

 

User testing? Is this something outside of mturk?

 

I got mine muted too, but the issue with my PANDA is I get the Page Cannot Be Found error every few days which requires me to reinstall the script and thus, lose all my mute alarm settings. :/

 

If you like UserBob voice hits where you go through web pages or apps and talk as you do it, UserTesting is amazing. www.usertesting.com is great. I asked UserBob a while back about what other platforms his competitors are on and he pointed me in the direction of a bunch of sites that all do the voice hits. UserTesting being one of them. Just pick up a cheap microphone, or a decent one, and register on the site. The initial registration is a little annoying, but once you are on the site and have decent reviews, you get sent studies all day long. Some on the phone, some on the site. Depends on the platform the requester wants you to review on. Most studies are <10min, but they all pay the standard 10 bucks. For live stuff where there is a mediator like one of the Trivago studies I did where I was talking through the Usertesting phone app with a Trivago representative, i was paid 70 bucks for 20 minutes.

 

Ah this sounds like good money but I usually do this stuff at work so talking out loud would be a no go for me. Either way my stage fright would get the best of me. But thank you for the info!

Lol. I'm a work-turker as well. I usually do the voice stuff at home though. I promise once you get the bang of it, its really decent money. I encourage everybody to get thier feet wet with some UserBob hits. Voice hits usually pay a lot better than standard stuff, so I go out of my way to find them.

 

Has anyone actually done any of these carelinx hits that spam every day?

 

Study length varies greatly sometimes. Usually its <10 minutes though for any given study. There are a few odd ones that take longer, but deff not 60 minutes like 6 bucks would pay on mturk. This morning I did one where I had to talk through a drop-down task. It asked me where I would find certain things on a drop down page, kind of like you would find on any website. Total time was about 5 minutes. Regardless of how long the task takes, its 10 bucks on usertesting. The other one I did this morning I had to do a survey on Surveymonkey and just talk my way through why i chose the bubble I chose. That took <10 minutes since I always like to be verbose in my explainations.
