I actually prefer the desk surface to be a bit lower (~lap height). Helps keep my arm slack and mobile, which is crucial for being accurate in shooters. I remove (or just don't install) any arms on chairs because fixing the arm in position is terrible for precision. If you run a low mouse sensitivity, the fixed position set by chair arms could also force the wrist to do too much work too often, contributing to RSI.

I also run the monitor much closer - around where the keyboard is pictured. When I tell people to sit closer to a high-res monitor in order to see everything, that's what I'm talking about. I usually use a necked VESA mount rather than the built-in monitor stand in order to get the monitor stacked directly over the keyboard.

I think these people should learn to look with their eyes sometimes, rather than always looking with their head.
