    I got the "Hey" message to stop by deleting line 1588: else speakThisNow("Hey!");

    Yeah, I remember reading that. I thought the update notification mentioned something about needing to put it in its own window to prevent PREs but I just checked the PC page and read this: "Be sure to run script in it's OWN separate window with no tabs because browsers limit timers to 1 second in tabs." I have it running in a tab now but seems to be running as fast as yesterday when I had it in a separate window.

    The keyboards for most laptops these days are trashy chiclets or zero-travel switches, so it's not just MacBooks that suffer from a terrible laptop keyboard.

    But scissor-switches were semi-mechanical, and until mechanical keyboards became mainstream, their prevalence in laptops at the time was the reason I used to prefer typing on a laptop.

    This is the laptop I used to have before someone knocked a full cup of coffee into it and fried it. Loved it:

    It never really gets as bad over here as it does on the coast. It's been raining, though.

    I think somebody mentioned last week that you turk using Microsoft Edge? Well, I got a new laptop running Windows 10 a week ago and decided to try to use Edge rather than Firefox (my former browser). All of my scripts run exactly the same except Panda Crazy. Panda Crazy no longer shows HITs as being accepted on the job tabs; it no longer sends desktop notifications/alarms when a HIT gets accepted (but it does send the CAPTCHA alert/ log-off warning).

    Also, the worst part, even when a job is set to collect only one HIT, it won't accept just one. A couple days ago I was watching a survey and it collected 15 of them!

    Overall, I prefer Edge so I can overlook the minor quirks.

    No, that was a misquote/misunderstanding by @Randomacts .

    I don't mind using Edge when I have to - I think it's a good browser. But I mainly use the stable branch of Chrome, in spite of vowing to myself that I'd try using Firefox as my main browser since the major Quantum update. I switch regularly between 3 different computers, and so I crutch pretty hard on Chrome's browser sync and a couple of Chrome-specific extensions that aid in development. There are also some "cutting edge" browser APIs that differ from one browser to the next, and I'm more familiar with how they work in Chrome than the equivalents for other browsers.

    Basically, the TL;DR is that my browser choice is set mostly because of the convenience and momentum of my investment in its ecosystem.

    I haven't used Panda Crazy at all for at least a few weeks, possibly a month by now (being sick has distorted my sense of time).

    @Totally Not ,

    Does Edge use COM ? I was using old IE so I could make ahk mess with everything. I gave up on that strategy a while ago, do you use it with Edge?

    Okay. I posted a message on the PC page but I doubt the issue will be addressed because most people use Chrome/Firefox. I wanted to try Edge because I read that it hogs less memory than the other browsers.
