@Kadauchi Can you register Hit Catcher as a possible target for my web+panda:// protocol?

I think it'd be cool to have a uniform protocol that can include optional metadata about the HIT as well as optional instructions for the catcher itself embedded into the link.

So it's something like:

web+panda://GID?flags&go&here

Right now, I've implemented the GID and once=true flags in my proof of concept script and will eventually implement rid=requesterIdGoesHere, hitTitle=titleGoesHere, requesterName=requesterNameGoesHere, and a few others.

If I can get consensus on a standard for flag names between all of the popular developers of hit-catching tools, and all of them register protocol handlers, people could just their tool of preference to open metadata-infused links in their catcher of choice. If web+panda:// links are added to exports as well, it would help. Then, people could export a survey HIT marking that it's a survey, and the export would have ?/&once=true added to the web+panda:// URL.

@ChrisTurk With web+panda://, you could hint at the priority a catcher should use within web+panda:// links from TurkerView exports. So if a survey seems to pay really well, you could hint it to the catcher with &priority=high (or whatever becomes standardized, maybe a numeric value is better, maybe both should exist, who knows). Then, depending on the user's catching tool of choice, they could ignore or respect this hinting.
