An "executive," can be a lot of things and I know plenty of people in an exec position who DO NOT make 6 figures and make more like a healthy 40-60k a year before the Grinch that is taxes. It's just not that common to make 100k+ and cost of living, student loans, debt, kids, saving for the future, etc are all things that exist in life. Also, like...I'm not gonna get into household income here for obvs reasons, but lots of folks make decent money and want to, ya know, make more? I have medical bills, expensive cats, etc. Just cause Matt and I make halfway decent money doesn't stop me from picking up extra cash and I know a decent amount of folks making similar salaries who still do side work/coupon like crazy/etc. Shit, Matt picks up side work doing airplane restoration and such and he doesn't have to but we like putting aside money. It's just not that outlandish.

Money is money! A nest egg is a nest egg.
