    research what you need/fits into that and buy a ssd and a stick of ram and save a bit of money for less performance + being forced to add it yourself which is easy, but besides the point

    but it's not really worth it unless you really can't stretch the extra.

    No, I'm right there with you. $220 is a lot, depends on how well I turk. That i5 is exactly what I'm looking for, good mid-range.
