I probably would be into Android if it was out when my company chose to go with iPhones over Blackberries (good decision in retrospect) but now I'm so far into Apple products I'll never unbury myself, lol.

I did find reports online that fitbit also counts crochet and knitting movements. Seems lame. I mean, I do many of the same movements in other activities so now I'm suspicious how many steps are being counted for everyone when, say, stirring cookie dough? Or scrubbing a sink?

I know they all count winding yarn into a ball, lol.

My garmin would count that, but that makes sense based on the movement. So anything similar to that movement will be counted as steps.

The AW is getting better now that I'm purposely calibrating when I'm walking and "teaching" it that my arm movements when walking are not teeny tiny like my arm movements when crocheting.

Now I walk WITH PURPOSE with that "gtfouttamyway" stride demonstrated by aggressive arm swinging.
