    I know that feel. Finally caught up and my brain is almost not completely mush. :coffee: (srsly I should be the one getting the vampire jokes, not @Randomacts -kun :p )

    As far as talking about batches goes, that's something that's bout to happen on any venue where Workers congregate, be it forums, Reddit, FB groups, IRC channels, Discord channels or Indian digital sweatshops. The anxiety of seeing the HITs available dropping with every other HIT submitted suuuuucks.

    It's best to assume that if you know about a HIT, plenty of other people do as well. You can't stop people from finding out about it. What you CAN do about it is maximize your efficiency and squeeze in every HIT you can while they're still up and catch stragglers if it's viable. There was enough downtime between batches just now to write a simple script to focus the text entry box upon loading and paired up with an AHK to switch tabs, they could be done mouse-free.

    That being said, we're not looking to make this a "worker hugbox/no opinions allowed happy space"... I love all y'all's faces to death and I can't, and won't, change the way you are. One thing that we can all agree on is that a crowd of people is stronger than a person by itself (just look at the platform we screw around on). Workers have done some truly incredible things that they've shared over the years; we could all be stuck looking at vanilla mturk HIT search pages and f5ing with our eyes glued to the results, but we don't have to. I, for one, would like to thank our scripting overlords. What I'm getting at is that practically everyone here has benefited from the vast amount information shared by Workers before us, because the Official MTurk Worker Handbook doesn't cut it.
