He can't reject me because he says he has no record of me having taken the survey and I know this because of those "scammy" ones which just disappears into the ether once you hit submit, we all encounter those from time to time don't we? So I of course contacted him immediately and he said he would look into it...and had he has the whole alphabet following his name PHD etc, etc, I thought he would be legit...alas, no. I actually don't care about the money at this point, its just the principle. But as no one else see,s to have had a problem with this requester, I'm no going to work myself self up into a lather about him, my time will be better spent doing paying HITS.

Sounds like the survey may have expired.
I see on TV that there was only a 10 minute timer on it.

From my understanding - there's no way to pay you through the MTurk system unless you have done a HIT from him in the past, and if it expired - on mturk it'll appear as though you've never done a HIT.

He may just be having issues on actually paying you if this is the case. He may not have a good method to do so aside from like paypal or a gift card or something.

-edit or he can just make a makeup HIT, but that would require the requester to actually know what the heck he's doing - and quite frankly, many requesters don't.

That is so awesome! Nagging can work.

I've been telling my 14 year old that when he's old enough for a permit (which I think he will be at 15) he might have to get a job to start saving for college. He doesn't want to get a job outside of the house.

Then I had to go into one of his banks where he puts all of his money. The kid is loaded. He is making vastly more money selling his scarves and doing house/pet/yard sittings for neighbors than I realized. I told him if he keeps earning at that level, he doesn't need to get a real job. I'm a little jealous of him, lol. And glad he found his own way to make money after me telling him that is required of him.
