If you're working as a contractor it should be >$600 for a 1099 IIRC (fact check me here, I'm pulling the # out my ass to expand on why its 20k for Amazon).

Amazon isn't your employer, they're a payment processor. The $20,000 number comes from different regulation. Google paypal 1099k etc for more info there.

Kinda, back when TH first started I signed up for one of the ad partner things earnably & sites like that use thinking I could pass the margin difference back to users here. Its fairly negligible b/c they get better deals being at-scale but we essentially have our own version of all that stuff:

I actually have to rewrite EarnHub at some point b/c of people like you. In order to not be insolvent I have to keep at least enough in PayPal to cover all total accumulated earnings for EH that aren't processed, which as people try it out for a day or two then quit becomes an ever increasing total sum. I'm really starting to get worried PP is going to lock the account in one of their heist attempts lmao, so at some point your points are gonna expire if you're not active on EH.
