    Probably way cheaper too obviously. I most likely will one of these days. I think my first rehydration from dried form food experiment is going to be chickpeas and I want to make fallafal from scratch. I never had falafalala but it looks like I would enjoy the heck out of it seeing the ingredients and textures

    I just used chickpeas the other day! They seem big to try to rehydrate. :dunno: I would start with canned and if that comes out right, move on to dried. Have fun!

    It maybe a lot easier than you are imagining. Pretty much entails putting some dried chickpeas in liquid and letting them soak over night? (like dried beans) Unless I am missing something here?
