How the hell do you have 0 rejections?

 

Poor decision making & not enough booze.

 

Fights any of the few rejections he gets. I'm sure most people don't do that.

 

How do I leave a review on turkerview for a hit I did yesterday?

A lot of people do fight their rejections, unfortunately there's a lot of scummy requesters out there, in addition to the fact that a lot of people are prone to making mistakes sometimes. @leafs4_cup just has unicorn luck.

 

I have 1 rejection in my first 1k. It was a freaking screener too.

 

Better to pop your cherry early, next time it wont hurt as bad.

 

When unicorn money was falling out of the sky, probably a few hits a month would have something screwy happen and I'd bail. The real lost money is staying away from scared batches. Since unicorns have basically been gone for 3 or 4 months now, I have been getting riskier and riskier, which is how this happened. Quite frankly, unless unicorn hits come back, it won't be long before my next one. There are some nice masters batches that are hard to stay away from, even though you know there's some landmines in there.

A combination of luck and being scared.

I was part of a mass rejection survey in Nov/Dec of 2016, but those got overturned for everyone. I have had a few other close calls, where I know I have submitted something wrong, and even one blank submission that I had to beg for my life for. But this is the first one I got that I had to personally ask to get overturned.

Don't worry about it.

mTurk is your business, your time is your product. No business operates on 0% shrink, its not economically feasible to do so. At some point 0 rejections on mTurk means you have traded profit for some magical number that is ultimately meaningless.

I'm not saying actively chase rejections, but when some idiot kid runs out of your candy store with 15 cents worth of bubble gum you don't close up shop to chase him down and get the chewed bits back.

And if some sketchy looking Chinese man drops a pile of gold on the floor with only a nominal chance you throw out your back trying to carry your haul to your truck, you take that man's money and don't think twice.
