I went to the store, stared at the wall of cold/flu stuff and finally found the theraflu- all the daytime theraflu was gone. This happened to me once before, but I didn't notice, and instead bought nighttime theraflu without noticing.

Me, and several other zonked out folks are all just kinda staring at the wall of shit...still, and an employee comes over. I gesture helplessly to the theraflu and ask if they have any daytime in the back, and someone else points out they also don't have dayquil at this point. We sell out of things a lot in this town, and apparently we are all little flu zombies or whatever. The kid just shrugs and keeps walking.

I finally see some daytime alka seltzer cold, and that shiz is pretty good, so I grab it...followed by everyone else. It was like a little virus train where we all simultaneously went, "fuck it! this'll do!"
