    The meta for the game is just too predictable and uninteresting.

    It was the first FPS game on PC that I really sunk a significant amount of time into as well, and eventually as my skill increased, I'd become incredibly irritated by sever lag / low tickrate in any decent-sized fight, the influence of redeploys / zerging in influencing combat, etc.

    The next game that I put thousands of hours into after putting that game was the polar opposite when it comes to scale - CSGO.
