    Vocal time compression was a foreign concept to them but I just used FL for synths and then would time stretch the vocals in Acid + use it as a multitrack. Now that I am switching to Windows again it is going to be interesting without my beloved Logic Pro

    This has taken me forever to reply to, because I'm dying. But, you're both a wee bit incorrect and correct at the same time here.

    It should actually be WE, if we want to sound best.

    However, that being said, 'you and me' could be used from an editing standpoint and plenty of people will throw down 'You and I', even if it's not totally correct in this instance. I am not going into nominative case and bullshit like that right not though, just no.

    Normally, you would drop the You from a statement to tell if Me/I was the correct usage. And then you have prepositions, like between, that need to be followed by an objective pronoun and not a subjective one.

    You and me, we think alike. CORRECT

    We are a lot alike. CORRECT

    Between you and me, we are a lot alike. CORRECT

    You and I should talk about how alike we are. CORRECT

    The you and me order thing can also come from a grammatical need to be polite, I wish I was joking. And, in cases where dropping the 'you,' makes things non-sensical, you wouldn't really drop an 'I,' up in that hizzouse either. The phrase Between you and me, is a hallmark example of this, shown above.

    I would just never let the sentence, "You and me are a lot alike." go into print tbh. It has too much room for argument, and I would die from the 500 semantic or flat out incorrect arguments I would deal with. I would turn that Grinch into one of the above sentences and verbally Grinch slap anyone who tried to argue with me over it- then I would charge them a full hour of my time for the time I spent explaining my reasoning, SO YOU ALL OWE ME $$$, YA HEAR?

    Tl:dr You and I sounds more correct, but in reality there is a huge argument and precedent that it's not the preferred usage in this case. You can scruff some other grammatical argument out, but Birb does not have time for that shit AND JUST USE WE PLEASE.

    We are a lot alike. We are a lot alike.

    @lefty @gurlondrums I think I just broke. Send help.

    This reminds me of diagramming sentences in Honors English back in high school.

    Improper use of if/whether is what bugs me the most, because misuse of either one often leads to ambiguity in complex technical requirements.

    My daughter got it two days before Christmas, and somehow magically felt fine the next day (They gave her theraflu or tamiflu or something like that). Then I see all these people having it and it being so bad, and I feel lucky af that her's wasn't so bad and that nobody else in the house got it.
